Search tipsUse the Meetinghouse Search to help you find what you're looking for among our listings. The syntax is pretty much what you'd expect from using the big search engines, to wit:henry james - will find any entry with either "henry" or "james" "henry james" - will find any entry with the phrase "henry james" +henry -james - will find any entry with "henry" that doesn't have "james" "james, henry" - (note comma & spacing) will ensure that the results include any listings by Henry James If you are looking for a particular book, first try entering a search for either all or part of the EXACT title placed within quotation marks. For example, a search for either "Henry James and the Structure of the Romantic Imagination" (complete title) or "the romantic imagination" (partial title) will produce the correct listing, while " the romantic imagination of Henry James" (inexact title) will not. In general, a good rule of thumb (here as elsewhere) is "less is more." Enter just one or two precise keywords at a time to achieve results specific to your interests. The search includes keywords which may not appear in the listing itself. It is not case sensitive (lower and upper case both work). |
